We have hit week 34 of this pregnancy. I know one day Hunter will be an awesome big brother, but it will be an adjustment at the beginning. Not too much has been going on in our family except laughing at Hunter one minute and then "training" him the next.A couple weeks ago David went out West for a week. It wouldn't have been bad if I wasn't pregnant and sick, so it was a long week. As soon as David got back, his friend Clint came to visit and then my dad came. Our house was busy for a while, but now it will be slow until #2 comes.
David and Clint had a great time visiting. Hunter was not too sure about him, but we also found out he had a double ear infection and possible pneumonia (ended up not, just had to be on breathing treatment for a while). We put my dad to work as soon as he walked in the door. We had homeade dinners, clean kitchen, carpets, and other rooms. He helped put in a new light fixture and installed drawers in our pantry to be able to pull out food. It is awesome. My dad also watched Hunter one night so that David and I could go out.
We also had the pleasure of seeing Jason and Janet Middlekauff. Janet made a beautiful quilt for baby #2. She does an amazing job at every kind of craft. It was nice seeing their kids as well. We always love it when old friends stop by.
Hunter is doing well. He has definitely hit the 2's. One minute he is cracking us up and the next minute something dramatic has happened. He is on the go all the time. His new fascination are trains. He sleeps with his trains, he likes to wear shirts that have trains, and his favorite cartoon is Chuggington. He calls his trains and Chuggington "whoo Whoo". His new favorite word is "crash" everything crashes and he yells it. It is quite entertaining. He also LOVES buses. We have a school bus stop near our house and every morning at 8:04 and afternoon at 4:00 we have to watch the children get on and off the bus.
